REQUIREMENTS:  (When numbers in parentheses, such as (1-2) are used, they indicate the winding and the extreme terminals of the winding.)

Electrical ratings:  See table I. Design and construction:

Dimensions and configuration:  See figure 1. Case:  Encapsulated.

Material:  Epoxy. Weight:  1 ounce.

Operating temperature range:  -55°C to +155°C. Altitude: 50,000 feet.

Terminals:  Wire leads, type E, number 22 AWG, 6 inches long in accordance with MIL-DTL-16878. Terminal strength:  MIL-STD-202, method 211, test condition A, 5 pounds.

Dielectric withstanding voltage:

At sea level:  1,000 volts

At barometric pressure:  600 volts

Electrical characteristics:

Inductance:  With 1 volt rms, 400 Hz across (1-2), "X" A dc applied to (1-2), the inductance shall be

"X" µH minimum. (For "X" see table I.)

Temperature  rise:   35°C  with  1.0  volt  rms,  60  Hz,  400  Hz,  and  rated  current  applied  to  (1-2)  at  an  ambient temperature of 120°C.

DC resistance (1-2):  See table I. VERIFICATION

Qualification inspection:  Not applicable.

Conformance inspection:  Groups A and B tests of MIL-PRF-27 shall be applicable. Marking location:  See figure 1.
